Business Transformation Consultant For owners rebuilding how the company runs
Tony DiSilvestro works as a business transformation consultant for owners and leadership teams whose companies have outgrown the way they operate. He is a keynote speaker, entrepreneur, author, and systems strategist who spent 30 years building and scaling more than 30 businesses, and he works directly with companies that are ready to go back to day one and rebuild the parts that no longer hold.

Compare How the Company Runs Now With What the Rebuild Aims For
Drag the divider to move between the two states. The left panel describes patterns owners often recognize in a company that has outgrown its operations. The right panel describes what the work is aiming for.
- DecisionsNearly every call, large or small, ends up on the owner's desk.
- ProcessThe right way to do the work was never written down.
- AccountabilityFollow-through depends on who is watching that day.
- GrowthMore revenue brings more work and thinner margins.
- PeopleThe best people carry the load until they burn out.
- OwnerThe owner cannot step away without things slipping.
- DecisionsDecisions are made at the right level, by design.
- ProcessProcesses are written down, owned, and repeatable.
- AccountabilityAccountability is built into the structure itself.
- GrowthRevenue and margin are set up to grow together.
- PeopleLeaders develop the next layer of leaders.
- OwnerThe owner leads the business instead of holding it up.

Some Companies Need a Rebuild, Not Another Adjustment
Some established companies reach a point where small fixes stop working. The business still runs on the owner's effort, on habits nobody wrote down, and on decisions made in reaction to whatever broke that week. At that stage the problems are structural. A new hire, a new software tool, or a new incentive plan gets absorbed by the same old way of operating, and a few months later the company is back where it started.
Tony's answer is to go back to day one. That means re-evaluating the fundamentals of the company as if it were being built today: what it sells, who it serves, how the work actually moves, who owns which results, and whether the leadership team is pulling in the same direction. From there, the people, processes, and systems get rebuilt to match the company the owner is trying to create, not the one that grew up by accident.
Tony comes to this work as an operator. Over 30 years he has built and scaled more than 30 businesses, including the Ynot Italian restaurant group, and he has led more than 450 people. His work is aimed at the gap between an owner's vision and bottom-line results.

What a Business Transformation Consultant Re-evaluates
A rebuild touches the whole operation, but it is rarely the same in two companies. These are the six parts of the business Tony puts back on the table with owners and their leadership teams.
The Fundamentals
What the company sells, who it is for, and what it wants to be known for. Defining brand vision without complicated processes is one of the themes Tony speaks on, and a rebuild starts there.
Operations and Systems
How work moves from order to delivery, where it stalls, and which steps depend on one person remembering to do them. Systems replace memory and heroics.
Leadership Alignment
Whether the leadership team shares one picture of where the company is going and one set of priorities for getting there, or is quietly running several companies at once.
Team Structure
Who reports to whom, where the leadership gaps sit, and whether the structure that fit a smaller company still fits the one that exists now.
Culture and Accountability
The standards people hold each other to when nobody is checking, how results are measured, and what happens when they are missed.
The Owner's Role
The difference between a business owner and an entrepreneur, what the owner should hand off, and the order in which delegation has to happen for it to stick.
Where a Rebuild Often Leads Next
A company that re-evaluates its fundamentals usually finds specific work to do on systems, costs, and the plan for growth. These pages cover those pieces in more depth.

Is Your Company Ready for This Kind of Work?
A rebuild asks a lot of an owner. It goes best when the people at the top already agree that the current way of operating will not carry the company through its next stage.
Signs an Owner Is Ready
- You have tried patches and quick fixes, and they did not hold.
- You can see the company has outgrown how it operates today.
- You are willing to have hard conversations about people and finances.
- You want a company with real value that does not depend on you being in the building.
How to Start
Send a short description of your company through the form below: what you do, what has changed, and what you have already tried. That short note is where the conversation begins.
The first conversation is about your company and whether this is the right kind of help for where it is today.
Before You Start a Rebuild

What does a business transformation consultant actually do?
Tony works with owners and leadership teams to look at the company from the ground up: its fundamentals, operations, leadership alignment, structure, and accountability. The goal is to replace the parts that only work because of owner effort with systems and people who can carry the business.
How is this different from business coaching?
Coaching focuses on developing the owner or a leader. This work focuses on how the company itself operates. If the real need is developing the owner or one leader, business coaching is the closer match.
Is my company too small or too large for this?
Size matters less than the situation. The work fits established companies whose owners can see that the current way of operating will not support the next stage of growth. Describe your company in the form and Tony's team will reply about fit.
How long does the work take?
There is no fixed length, because no two companies start from the same place. Scope and timing are discussed with Tony's team once they understand what your company needs.
Does Tony also speak at conferences?
Yes. Tony is a keynote speaker for conferences and corporate events, and his consulting draws on the same 30 years of building companies he speaks about on stage.
